Mechanic Project started as a mobile mechanic business in 2015. We first started in a Ford Ranger offering mobile services. We outgrew mobile work quickly and secured a small one-bay shop in 2018. We stayed at that location for two years and quickly outgrew that space. We have proudly served the Lakewood area since 2021 at a two-bay shop. Leonardo & Kimberly Perez (husband & wife) work extremely hard to make Mechanic Project a world-class automotive experience. The shop proudly donates to their church’s fundraisers and a local at-risk youth program in their city.
Leonardo & Kimberly Perez have been married for 13 years. They both have a passion for entrepreneurship and hard work. Leonardo has a background as a Master Mechanic with 20+ years of experience. Kimberly has a background in corporate HR with ten years of experience. Their combined talents make an excellent team for running an automotive business. In their spare time, they love to spend time in the outdoors, camping, hiking, or biking. They also love to travel and explore new places as a family.
